If you knew it was possible to go to a warm, tropical island where the stars and celebrities go, but still have the cash for fine dining, would you go? What if this magical island had the Caribbean’s finest beaches, fantastic local cuisine, and the friendliest people? Would you go then? How about if your experience would not be a typical cookie-cutter expensive hotel, but authentic and real?
In scenic Island Harbour, situated in the tranquil East End of Anguilla, the hideaway of K’s Kove just may be the island’s best value. On Anguilla’s vibrant East End, you will find a jewel-toned ocean shimmering like a watercolor painting. Colorful fishing boats dot the bay for great photo-ops.
Just off the coast, the mini-island of Scilly Cay hosts beach parties complete with live local music every Wednesday and Sunday. Wave from the dock and be whisked away by boat to taste this island‘s famous rum punch and lobster BBQ.
Places to Dine in Island Harbour
Enjoy fabulous local and gourmet dining with warm, friendly smiles. Start your day with fresh pastries, French bread or sandwiches at Le Bon Pain. Or, try the new cliff-side hit, On Da Rocks, specializing in $5 Saturday crawfish, the haute cuisine of Hibernia, Madeariman Beach Bar on Shoal Bay East, or Zaras, where Chef Shamash sings while creating island favorites.
Big Spring Restaurant, another newcomer, is getting rave reviews and serves delicious local fare. The Pit Stop BBQ has seating, but the takeout is perfect for a quiet dinner on your deck spent moon-gazing. Visit Gwen’s on Upper Shoal Bay for a late lunch and to discover one of the Caribbean’s most breathtaking views. Tap and his Scratch Band perform there on Sundays, when you can dance ‘til dusk or sleep in one of their hammocks strung beneath the palms.
So if you really need that vacation, come experience the warm Caribbean hospitality of K’s Kove on sunny Anguilla, where dreams whisper, “It’s possible.”
